What? WHAT? WHAT? Apple is not making another Vision Pro??? Does that mean that the Vision Pro was a failure? I'll explain why not. You see, the Vision Pro 2 was not the only Apple Vision to come next: there was also a plain, lesser-priced and less feature-loaded Apple Vision coming up at the same time of the end of 2025 (although that's uncertain, given the hard choices going to removing just the right extra features for the device to have a more accessible (but still Apple-y) $1,600). And what gets the masses in to all-new tech like the Vision Pro is a better deal than $3,500 (even if there's still a bit of Apple price spices on the Apple Vision dish).
My take: I think that it was too bad that Apple had to cancel the Apple Vision Pro 2 project, because it basically means that you're getting less, not more, features come next year (or whenever the Apple Vision airs). It might even heighten sales of the current Vision Pro based on just that fact, perfect when the Vision Pro is launching in more countries soon (reminder: the availability date for mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore is June 28, the Vision Pro will be available for preorder on that same day in France, the UK, Germany, Australia and Canada, and the Vision Pro will become available in these countries on July 12).
