The Beats Solo Buds were first announced on the last day of April, along with the Beats Solo 4 headphones. However, even as the Beats Solo 4 were released timely with their annnouncement in early May, the Beats Solo Buds have missed out on that release date, with a release date finally put on schedule in late May for June 20. Now that that (perhaps not coincidentally summer solstice) date has passed by, they have released (but only on the digital Apple Store app/apple.com website). As a reminder, they are for $79.95 in the four colors Matte Black, Transparent Red, Arctic Purple (even when the buds come to other retailers, this color will stay for Apple and Target), and Storm Gray (more details on features can be found in the linked post: https://www.seeds-of-apple.com/post/new-beats-solo-buds-now-have-an-availability-date). You can of course pick up your new buds at the nearest Apple Store once you buy them if you can, but it can be shipped in a single workday.
