In Texas, a lawsuit concerning the Secure Enclave (a part of all Apple's chips in the last decade that is the power behind Touch ID and Face ID) has been dismissed by the US District Court of Western Texas. The lawsuit, going since 2021, was posed by Identity Security LLC, with the company claiming that the feature infringes on four of its own patents. Identity Security LLC has not announced that it would like to appeal yet.
