My last post (the non-WWDC rumor roundup, accessible at https://www.seeds-of-apple.com/post/non-wwdc-news-roundup) turned out to be my 50th post!!! Can you believe it? THANK YOU to all my subscribers to pushing me along to this landmark! THANK YOU especially to my parents for encouraging me to post when I most needed it and helping create the blog! Here's a history of Seeds of Apple with personal remarks!

As I've told you before, it was Black Friday 2022 when I started emailing the latest Apple news daily to my parents, siblings and grandparents. At that time I had an audience of only 7 people. In August 2023 I started making so-called Haberdashery articles (a term taken from BasicAppleGuy, my favorite wallpaper creator), and soon after in late August I saved time by removing the Haberdashery term and making short articles. At one point in November I was making 3 articles a day! A dream for my rate right now!

It was February 16 when I first started looking around and seriously thinking about a blog. For the next few days, I started getting a blog ready. By Tuesday the 20th, I had a blog ready to publish to the world, all set up with an introductory post made that day. I soon removed the "Coming Soon" look and started with making posts every day. During spring break, I took a break for vacation, but then after that (after a couple articles catching up on news from the vacation), I just stopped. From April 10th all the way to the 24th, I decided to just stop blogging due to anxiety about publishing every day. Then, my parents (THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!) encouraged me to start blogging again, and this time I made less pressure to blog every day. It was still my goal, but it was not as pressuring as before. I still got new ideas occasionally, including the event countdown idea I used for Let Loose and are using for WWDC24.

Throughout all this time, a lot happened in the Apple community. An event happened (Let Loose last month, showcasing a new iPad Air size, Apple Pencil, and significantly updated iPad Pro), an ambitious project got cancelled (the Apple Car project in late February), a new MacBook Air with the M3 chip got announced in early March via press release, a new app released (the Sports app, just in time for my first real news article), Steve Jobs's would-be 69th birthday passed (in late February), new Beats came (at the end of April, although I didn't write about it until late May), a blockbuster antitrust lawsuit came (in late March), and much more.

Another THANK YOU for all my subscribers and especially my parents for making this blog into a reality! Goodbye, and can't wait for what the next 50 articles will be!
