The leader of the Vision Pro sector of Apple, Dan Riccio is now retiring from Apple after a 26-year-long run spanning iPad division leading and eventually a title as the Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering in 2012. As SVP, he became the head of the Apple Car project when there wasn't anyone else to take the spot, and he in 2021 left the SVP status to John Ternus so he could become the head of the Vision Pro project (a project that hasn't been very successful as of yet, with buyers straying away from its price and waiting for cheaper versions and some buyers thinking like me and saying, "do I really want my full vision to be virtual?"). This is part of a trend among people like Bart Andre and Evans Hankey, with high-ranking employees retiring one by one in following of Jony Ive.
